60 BED ADDITION and RENOVATIONS

Fiddick’s Nursing Home has grown in size from the initial 60 bed home built in 1978. A 36 unit Retirement Home was added in 1993 and an additional 32 beds Resident Home Area added in 2002. Both additions were done by our firm. In anticipation of opportunity to redevelop the original 60 bed home, the land was purchased immediately south of the entrance to the existing home.

60 bed addition is currently under construction and is being redeveloped to meet current Ministry of Health Design Guidelines.

The goal to achieve a LEED Silver Basic rating will ensure a high quality of environmental comfort and control for the residents. A reduction of water usage, mechanical system efficiencies and lighting efficiency are addressed as well.
